Paris Game Week 2013, the booth babes
The babes are people, usually women, used to stimulate consumer demand for a product, service, brand, or concept by directly interacting with potential consumers. Also called Booth babes, these are models that tend to be physically attractive. They are used to attract visitors and provide them with basic information about the products or services. Often the models are used to distribute marketing materials or gather information from customers for future promotions.
However, these models use for marketing are strongly contested by feminists who see it as, ignorance of women making purchasing decisions, contributing to a sexualized uncomfortable environment for female visitors, but also to a referral to a male colleague all technical inquiries. Personally I have only seen one male role model present throughout the area.
They were found in the car shows and now in the halls of electronics. The Paris Game Week is making no exception. As for cosplay I've prepared a small gallery with babes of the show.
