I'm not very religious, and the fact of celebrating the birth of the hero of the play called "Bible" break me a problem. Why not celebrate the birth of Harry Potter or Anakin Skywalker for that matter (whatever?)? I do not blame that thought / believe people think I'm just trying to give a bit of sense of it all. That's why for Christmas, I decided to celebrate the birth of a little guy who I think is more important, the famous philosopher, mathematician, physicist, alchemist, astronomer Isaac Newton. By a coincidence, it turns out that Isaac Newton was born December 25, 1642.

Well, not exactly, because it is the date of birth on the Julian calendar, which is a Roman calendar introduced by Julius Caesar in -46 and used from -45. the calendar we use today in most parts of the world is the Gregorian calendar. It's a solar calendar used from 1582 in Catholic states. December 25 of each calendar does not correspond to the same cycle of a solar rotation, Isaac Newton is actually born January 4, 1643 on the Gregorian calendar.
